SPECIAL HONORS
In March 2007 the Los Angeles Unified School District Board approved the naming of a new primary school in East LA, the Carmen Lomas Garza Primary Center. The school, located on 2750 E. Hostetter Street, will expand in a few years to include an elementary school.
